People often meet me as Dr. H—the dentist, speaker, and leadership strategist helping teams reconnect to purpose and perform with resilience.

But what they don’t always see is the path that prepared me to lead this work.

I didn’t begin in a corner office or a clinic. I started as a maid at Disney, behind a pawn shop counter, and later in the accounting department of a nonprofit. Those early jobs taught me grit, adaptability, and the power of showing up when the way forward isn’t clear.

Like many professionals—and like so many students today—I chased success without a roadmap. I changed majors, worked long hours, and eventually became a dentist. But even with credentials, I knew something was off. I was working hard, but not always in alignment with who I was created to be.

That clarity came through experience, reflection, and faith.

Today, I help leaders and teams find that same clarity. I’ve been through exhaustion, misalignment, and the quiet toll of navigating high expectations. And I understand the cost of building a culture without support, strategy, or shared purpose—whether it's a student striving for direction or a high-capacity team navigating pressure behind the scenes.

That’s why I founded Vitality Calling. Not just to teach resilience, but to help build it into the way organizations lead, support, and grow their people—especially in environments where performance is high, expectations are complex, and well-being can no longer be optional.

This work is rooted in faith and shaped by lived experience. It’s about building workplaces and learning environments that protect your mission by caring for the people who carry it.
